中秋节的英文

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, which usually corresponds to September or October in the Gregorian calendar. This festival is celebrated to mark the harvest season and to honor the moon.

Legend has it that there was a time when ten suns appeared in the sky, causing great damage to crops and people's lives. Hou Yi, a skilled archer, shot down nine of the suns, saving the earth from destruction. As a reward, he was given an elixir of immortality. However, he did not want to become immortal without his beloved wife, Chang'e. So, he hid the elixir at home and told Chang'e not to touch it.
