One of the most popular activities during the Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon boat races. These races are held in rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water all over China. The boats are long and narrow, with a dragon's head at the front and a dragon's tail at the back. Each boat is manned by a team of rowers who paddle in unison to the beat of a drum.
