The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, when the moon is believed to be the brightest and fullest. This year, I had the opportunity to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with my family, and it was a truly memorable experience.
On the day of the festival, my family and I gathered at my grandparents' house. The house was beautifully decorated with colorful lanterns and paper cuttings of rabbits, symbolizing good luck and prosperity. The aroma of delicious food filled the air as my grandmother prepared a feast for us to enjoy.
