2015年11月3日直贡噶举第三十六任法王——第八世琼赞法王滇津却吉拿瓦仁波切的诞辰日

今日是11月3日（藏历9月22日、天降日），也是直贡噶举第三十六任法王——第八世琼赞法王滇津却吉拿瓦仁波切的诞辰日。祈愿吉祥直贡教法照耀世界，无尽如母众生同证菩提果。

法友们、僧众们：吉祥如意！

藏历9月22日（2015年11月3日）是天降日（释迦牟尼佛为母说法后从三十三天返回娑婆世界），这吉祥的日子也是直贡琼赞法王滇津却吉拿瓦仁波切的诞辰日，这标志着直贡法王亦是佛陀的代表，示现众佛为了众生的利益从净土来到人间。

在如此吉祥的日子，我们发愿祈祷就会实现。值此好缘起，我们应在这一天修习善业，如采用任何身、口、意的誓言或承诺去践行任何一种善业，甚至在这一天发愿亦是非常强大的功德。

在一般情况下，佛陀的宝贵教诲为众生消除痛苦。通过佛法，众生也会知晓业与因果的道理，因而明白所有幸福之因是爱的运作。我们要培养爱心，为世界和平、众生平等、互不伤害做出贡献。

在这一天祈愿并背诵祈祷文是非常有意义的，如世界和平祈愿文、《入菩萨行》、回向愿文、大明咒等，都是很重要的。

请佛友们不要忘记那个吉祥的时刻，要切记在心啊！

Tashi Delek to my Dharmafriends and the Sangha!

The 22nd day of the 9th Tibetan month (Nov. 3, 2015) known as Lhabab Duchen in Tibetan, is the day of Lord Buddha's return from the 33 God Realm. This auspicious day is also the day that His Holiness, the Drikung Kyabg?n Chungtsang Rinpoche was born - a sign of his being the Buddha's regent. On this occasion, all Buddhas descended from the pure realms to the human world for the sake of sentient beings. Whatever prayers we make on this auspicious day will be accomplished. Thus, we should practice virtue on this day, such as taking any vow of body, speech and mind or committing to practice any other virtue. To take even one vow on this day is a very powerful virtue.

In general, the precious teachings of the Buddha prevail to dispel the suffering of sentient beings. Through the Dharma they can understand the workings of karma, cause and effect, and so realize that the cause of all happiness is love. Cultivating love they contribute to world peace, harmony and well-being, and the decline of violence.

On this day it is meaningful to pray for this and to recite prayers such as the World Peace Prayer, the Dedication Prayer of Engaging in the Bodhisattva's Conduct and the Prayer for Accomplishing Words of Truth. Therefore, I request you, my Dharmafriends, to keep these words in mind on this day.
